CipherKeep does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The app operates entirely offline. Specifically:

No user accounts or registration required
No analytics or tracking
No advertising SDKs
No data sent to external servers

2. Data Storage

All data you create or import within CipherKeep — including documents, photos, PDFs, and settings — is stored locally on your device using an encrypted local database. This data never leaves your device.

3. Permissions

CipherKeep requests the following device permissions solely to provide its core functionality:

Camera: To capture photos of documents directly within the app. Photos are saved only to the app's private storage.
Storage / Media: To import existing documents, images, and PDFs from your device.
Biometric (Fingerprint/Face): To provide secure biometric authentication as an alternative to PIN entry.
Notifications: To send local reminders about document expiry dates. No push notifications from external servers.
Internet: Used only to load font assets (Google Fonts) for the app's visual design. No user data is transmitted.

4. Security

CipherKeep implements the following security measures:

PIN-based authentication with biometric unlock option
Secure local storage using encrypted databases
Screen capture prevention to protect sensitive documents
No cloud synchronization or remote access

5. Third-Party Services

CipherKeep does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only external network request is for loading Google Fonts, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Children's Privacy

CipherKeep does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require any personal information to function.
